The Little Black Dog

This painting was inspired by Scamp the dog, who was in my life for 4 years. He was rescued after being abandoned in the Alps in winter as a puppy. As a dog he was inquisitive and had boundless energy.

Painted in 2009 on a 40mm deep 900mm x 600mm” canvas using sculpting paste and acrylic paint.
