When the dark shades fall, there is a light in the darkness…

This is the first in a series of ceramic based paintings that I am working on in 2018. Each piece will explore different aspects and experiences of life. This piece is produced with over 300 separate flower decorations cut and embedded on a wood box canvas.

Painted in February 2018 on a 50mm deep 16″ x 16″ wood block with distressed surface, individually made and hand painted flowers.
