This painting was inspired by seeing the poppy installation at the Tower of London which brought back childhood memories of my Great Grandad who fought and was severely injured during World War 1.

Painted in January 2018 on a 50mm deep 24″ x 24″ wood block with distressed surface and acrylic painted image.
